This year will be my third 365 project (one photo a day for each day of the year) and hopefully my second complete one! I’m doing it with a fabulous group of women for encouragement and accountability, and some of us will be doing a blog circle together at the end of each month where we post our favourites and link around to each other. (Link to the next photographer is at the very end of this post). January has SO many that jump out to me. Even with being brutal and narrowing it down I still have 16. I blame mama goggles!
Each photo is special to me because they all have a story. They share pieces of my boys’ personalities, interests, quirks, and daily routines. They tell tales of paper covered in scribbles, the magic pull of the Tupperware drawer, littles underfoot in the kitchen, tippy-toes, couch forts, and sink baths. They document Costco adventures, puddle splashing, and couch cuddling. They find magic in the mundane because everything is a wonder when you’re small. To me, they tell the story of childhood.
