I first met this beautiful mama on a wedding earlier this Summer. She was the hair and make-up artist and so much fun to work with! We got chatting and decided to touch base in the Fall for some family photos of her precious tribe. Their house backs onto this amazing stretch of land filled with forest paths and mossy trees so we started there and ended with some cuddles around the fire in their back yard. It was such a lovely evening. Her daughters were so funny and sweet, and I love how they each brought their own personalities to the shoot. While the photographer in me is drooling over the younger sister’s outfit and totally wishing I could pull that off, my inner tom-boy was championing the older sister’s ripped jeans and casual look. That is what’s wonderful about photographs – they capture more than just faces and locations. They capture “you”.
