This sweet couple started it all – the little (or maybe not so little) group of family that met together on the ocean shores for an extended family shoot. This sweet lady was my mentor many moons ago and I have connected with one of her adult daughters on a level that only moms that live in a world of neurodiversity can. In fact, it felt like “coming home” to be among a bunch of other ND people during the shoot and it was good for my heart. This is barely 1/10th of the photos we took, but I wanted to share a few moments and a few creative “big group shots” that jumped out to me from that night as we let the kids be kids, have input into the “poses”, and snapped up those “in-between” moments that hold my heart.
