I first met Olivia and Josh at a wedding show over a year ago and they were the FIRST couple to ever say we want to do engagement photos in the rain, so we waited for the stormiest day of the year last Fall and it was epic! You can check out those photos HERE. They were hoping for sunshine for their actual wedding day, but the West Coast had other plans. With some last-minute tent ordering (literally just a couple hours before the ceremony) everything continued as planned just accompanied by umbrellas and surrounded by a beautiful foggy mist. I’ll share a few of my favourite photo highlights below.
However, first I have to tell you my favourite part of the wedding. It’s usually the parent-of-the-bride speeches that get me to tear up, but in this case it was a surprise special dance. At her sister’s wedding the year prior, there wasn’t a father-daughter dance and this was a gift Olivia wanted to give them. So after her father-daughter dance, she called up her sister and gave her that special moment with their dad. It was one of the sweetest gestures I have seen <3.
Soooo beautiful!! But no surprise there! We were so happy to be there to share the first day of your happily ever after. Xo
